Bishop Forest High Class of 1959 Reunites

Anxious eyes and ears permeated the air as classmates reconnected with handshakes, smiles and warm greetings on a beautiful fall day in Schulenburg. The Bishop Forest HS Class of 1959 held their 60th Reunion on Oct. 19 at the Bishop Forest HS Museum and at the Oakridge Smokehouse Restaurant in Schulenburg.

The festivities began at 3 p.m. with a visit to the Bishop Forest Memorial Museum in Schulenburg. Mementos from the 1950’s caught the attention of the classmates who browsed the numerous display cases. It was a chance for members of the Class of 1959 to experience flashbacks in time to relive the highlights of their days at BFH. Classmates marveled at the items on display that helped them reconnect with events they witnessed or participated in back in the 1950’s.
