Volleyball Roundup: Fayetteville and SHS Roll

Fayetteville

The Fayetteville volleyball team waged a back-and-forth battle against Somerville Tuesday before the Lady Lions finally prevailed in five sets.

Fayetteville lost the first and third sets, but won the second and fourth sets 25-15 and 25-15 and then grabbed the fifth set 15-7 as the Lady Lions improved to 22-12 overall and 6-6 in district.

Brooklyn Jaeger had 23 kills and Colby Deatherage had 13.
