Leps Edge Smithville 14-13 With A Little Late Trickery

The perfect gamble at the perfect time kept La Grange perfect in district play.

Having lost the momentum, but clinging to a one-point lead on a chilly night in Smithville the La Grange football team executed a perfect fake punt with two minutes left in the game.

The Leps ran out the clock from there to hold into a 14-13 win over the Tigers, a victory that improves La Grange to 3-0 in district and 7-1 overall.
