Dobbins Torches Wisconsin, Earns Award

COLUMBUS, OHIO — You have to wonder, what would be good enough for La Grange H.S. graduate and Ohio State University starting running back J.K. Dobbins.

Dobbins was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week after his incredible performance in Ohio State’s 38-7 drubbing of Wisconsin. He also surpassed 1000 yards for the third season in a row, becoming the first Buckeye in history to rush for 1000 yards as a freshman, sophomore, and junior.

But when asked after his incredible performance how happy he was with his play, his first response, not surprisingly, was “I’m happy because we won” and his second response? “But you know, my performance could’ve been a little better.”
