High School Volleyball Playoffs Are Here

The high school volleyball playoffs begin Monday and all five Fayette County teams are in the party.

• In the 4A playoffs, La Grange (23-20) was set to play Needville Monday, Nov. 4 at 6:30 p.m. at Sealy High School. The winner of that game plays Wimberlet/Burnet winner.

• In the 3A playoffs, Schulenburg plays Yoakum Tuesday Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. in Flatonia. The Schulenburg volleyball team lost to Jewett Leon in four sets Friday in a playoff warm-up match.

The final score was 23-25, 18-25, 25-19, 15-25, with the Lady Horns only winning the third set.
