The State of Oklahoma filed a lawsuit against Tommy and Eddie Tipton in Fayette County District Court last month. The suit seeks $2 million in restitution that the Tipton brothers agreed to pay after pleading guilty in Iowa in 2017 to rigging lottery drawings in multiple states and then collecting the winnings. According to Iowa court records, Tommy has paid $1,372.64 of the $804,095 that he was ordered to pay. Eddie, who is serving a 25 year prison sentence for his role in the case, has paid $1,870.82 of the $1,653,873.60 that he owes.
