As Hope Hill Construction Starts, Its Critics Fight On

Construction has started at the Hope Hill residential subdivision along Horton Street in La Grange. But critics of the housing development for Hurricane Harvey flood victims say the City should order a halt to the work because the developers have not filed the proper paperwork.

Ken Dernehl of the La Grange Citizens Alliance, the group opposing the subdivison, argued the case before the La Grange City Council meeting last Tuesday and the Fayette County Commissioners Court last Thursday.
