Barbara Faye (Crump) Sulak, 77, of Fayetteville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019.

Barbara was born in Lafayette, La. on June 12, 1942 the daughter of James and Lou Rae (Reed) Crump. She married Ed Sulak on May 13, 1961 in Houston.

Barbara started her career as a legal secretary and then continued her career as a court reporter/transcriber for 45 years.

She enjoyed gardening and working out in the yard. Barbara loved to write and wrote a weekly column for the New Ulm Enterprise for a few years. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who loved and treasured her family.

She is survived by her husband, Ed Sulak; three sons, Andy Sulak and Tim Sulak, both of Tomball and Ed Sulak II and wife, Mozelle, of Spring; six grandchildren, Dillon, Charlie, Chelsea, Tamara, Eddie Sulak and Andrea Shults; three-great grandchildren, Chance Browning, Bentley Dolen and Makayla Pasquill; and three cousins, Pat Wood, Dora and Elaine Gillory.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Glenn Crump.

A heartfelt thanks to the Cancer Center in Bryan for the quality care Barbara received.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 15, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations in La Grange. A second viewing will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fayetteville from 3 to 5 p.m. with family present. A rosary will be recited at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fayetteville at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019. Burial will follow at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, P.O. Box 57, Fayetteville, TX 78940, or the Cancer Center of Bryan, TX.
