Donations To Fayette Co. Harvey Victims Total Over $4 Million

Private donors provided more than $4.25 million in disaster recovery aid in Fayette County since Hurricane Harvey, according to a report issued last week by the Fayette County Disaster Recovery Team President Larry Jackson.

Jackson said that number represents the total value of assistance that went to 250 families in Fayette County that were affected by Hurricane Harvey. FCDRT distributed $3.8 million of that aid to 193 different families. Rio Texas Disaster Response Agency, which is affiliated with the United Methodist Church, distributed another $371,000 in assistance to 66 families.
