High School Hoops Roundup

Before they hit the Thanksgiving break, some county basketball teams had more work to do last week. Here’s a look at some of the action:

• The Schulenburg girls basketball team defeated Cuero 33-26 to improve to 2-1 this season.

The Lady Horns were led in scoring by Brynlee Hollas, who scored 16. Erica Otto had five points, Morgan Marburger score four, and scoring two points each were Jordan Sommer, Emily Rodriguez, Abbey Wellborn and Airyanna Rodriguez.
