Schubert

Marvin Louis Schubert, 83, of La Grange, passed away on Friday, Nov. 29, 2019.

Marvin was born in the Rabbs Prairie community in La Grange, Texas on Jan. 12, 1936, the son of Gus and Annie (Franke) Schubert.

Marvin married Freeda Ann (Heger) Schubert on Nov. 24, 1957 in Holman.

Marvin worked as a farmer and rancher. He was a hard worker and a good family man.

He is survived by his son, Darrell Schubert and wife, Karen of Rabbs Prairie; two grandsons: Darrick Schubert and wife, Kayla; Colton Schubert and special friend, Carleigh Hightower; and numerous other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife Freeda Schubert; brother, Leroy and wife Mildred Schubert; sister, Ruby and husband, Edward Kasper.

Visitation was held on Monday, Dec. 2, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations in La Grange. Family received friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. A prayer service followed at 6 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019. Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery.
