KJZT Family Life Society Holds Social, Meeting

November 2019 marked the 110th Anniversary of Society No. 31 of La Grange, St. Frances of Rome, KJZT Family Life. The annual family social and meeting was held Thursday, Nov. 14 in the Sacred Heart Parish Msgr. Harry Center at 4:30 p.m. President Elizabeth Kallus called the meeting to order and led members in opening prayers for living and deceased members and in the recitation of the Pledges of Allegiance to the U.S. and Texas flags.

Reading of the August meeting minutes was dispensed, Treasurer Barbara Eilert gave the treasury report and bills were approved for payment.

Secretary Marilyn Kothmann read thank you cards and KJZT Family Life State Office news that included information about 2020 Scholarship applications being available and Catholic Schools Week (Jan. 26-Feb. 1, 2020).
