Lady Leps Roll to Basketball Tourney Title in Schulenburg

Sixteen teams came to the Whataburger Sweet 16 Lady Horns Tournament in Schulenburg last week, and the La Grange girls proved themselves best of them all.

The Lady Leps were a perfect 5-0 in tourney play to win the title. The La Grange girls now have a sparkling 13-1 overall record as they prepare to play at Pflugerville Connally Tuesday.

Sophomore Aysia Grant, who led the Lady Leps in scoring in three of the five games was named the tournament MVP. La Grange teammates Aaliyah Hunt and Megan Brothers were also named to the all-tourney team.
