Basketball Renaissance: Hoops Reaching New Heights in Fayette County

Fayette County doesn’t have the storied high school basketball history that it has in, say, football, baseball, softball or volleyball.

This area has loaded up on state titles in recent years in those other sports, but for some reason really premier success on the hardwood has eluded local teams ever since the Fayetteville girls won it all back in 2004.
