Traffic Accidents on the Rise in LG

La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath said his department is seeing a spike in traffic accidents within the City. Officers are stepping-up enforcement as a result, he said.

According to figures provided by Gilbreath, La Grange Police investigated 176 traffic accidents since the beginning of the year. Of those, 122 involved injuries or damage exceeding $1,000, and 54 took place in a parking lot or on private property.
