Bernice Ida (Keilers) Wood, 90, of La Grange, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 12, 2019.

Bernice was born in La Grange, Texas on September 28, 1929, the daughter of Louis and Lena (Von Minden) Keilers.

Bernice married Willard Otto Wood on January 14, 1946 in La Grange. She was a homemaker. Bernice was also a member of First Baptist Church of La Grange.

She is survived by her son, Willard O. Wood and wife, Charlene of La Grange; daughter, Nina Daniel and husband, David Avery of Arkadelphia, AK; three grandsons: Jay Wood; Craig Daniel and David Wood.

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Willard O. Wood, Sr. and son, General Wood.

Private funeral services will be held on Monday, December 16, 2019.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Depot Museum and M-KT Railroad Depot, 260 North Washington St., La Grange, Texas 78945.
