Niyah Faith Garcia, one month and 7 days of La Grange, passed away on Friday, Dec. 13, 2019.

Niyah was born in Austin on Nov. 6, 2019, the daughter of Jordy Garcia and Dajah Simien.

Niyah is survived by her parents; grandparents: Ramon Garcia and Silvia Hernandez-Garcia of La Grange; Jeffrey and Teresa Simien of Taylor; uncles: Ramon E. Garcia of La Grange; Jeffrey Simien, Jr. of Taylor; aunt, Silvia G. Garcia of La Grange; great-grandmother, Martha Covarrubias and great-grandfather, Pedro Hernandez, both of Giddings; great-grandmother, Mila Wegner of Taylor; along with an additional twenty-four greatuncles and thirteen great-aunts.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents: Miguel and Juana Garcia; great-grandmother, Freda Simien; greatgrandfather, Ross “Pop” Hill and great-grandfather, Monroe “Bill” Wegner.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 20, 2019 from 12 to 6 p.m. at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations. Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations in La Grange at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019. Burial will follow at the La Grange City Cemetery.
