Lady Leps Beat El Campo; Fayetteville Downs RTC

The La Grange girls basketball team, which is ranked No. 5 in the state in Class 4A in the latest Texas Girls Coaches Association Poll, went on the road Tuesday and beat El Campo 62-50 to improve their record to 14-2. Megan Brothers led La Grange in scoring with 19 points and Kailee Jones added 12. The Lady Leps play at home Friday against Yoakum at 4:30 p.m.
