Shirley Pietsch of Ledbetter has a special Christmas tradition.

Every year during the holidays she gets out an old yellowed newspaper clipping cut out of the Houston Chronicle from back in the 1960s and rereads it.

Recently she brought the clipping by the Record office to ask if we would consider sharing the story. We are glad to be able to do so. It’s reprinted below:
