Kartous

Louis W. Kartous, 89, of Carmine passed away at his home Dec. 16, 2019.

He was born in Dallas on March 26, 1930. He was the retired owner of Fayette County Rebuilders. Louis served his country in the Marines and Navy and served in the Korean War. He was a 67 year member of the Maxonic Masons and a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Carmine.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy L. Kartous (Blackburn); son, Michael Lee Kartous; and brother, Edward J. Kartous.

He is survived by dauther, Cherrie Wines and grandchildren, Esther Elster and Gabriele Wines.

Memorial services will be held Jan. 4, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Martin Luther Lutheran Church, 211 Luther Lane in Carmine, with Pastor David Tinker officiating.
