Rice-Labyer

Susie Rice-Labyer, 65, of Muldoon died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020 at St. David’s Medical Center in Austin.

She was born Sept. 14, 1954 in Weimar to Ralph Labyer Sr. and Neldean (Helton) Labyer.

She is survived by her sister, Deborah Labyer of Houston; brother, Bradley Labyer of Live Oak; aunt, Dorothy Atkins of Muldoon; and partner, John Pechacek of La Grange. She is also survived by a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral services were held at Tommy E. Taylor Funeral Home in La Grange at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 6, 2020 with Pastor Andy Smith officiating. Burial followed at Byler Cemetery in West Point.
