Fayetteville Girls Win 73-5!

The Fayetteville girls and boys basketball teams hosted a double-header Tuesday night in which the girls’ team played first followed by the boys.

Fayetteville’s Lady Lions put on a defensive clinic, holding Waelder to only two field goals throughout the entire game leading to a whopping 73-5 victory.

“We came out in a full-court press, something we’ve been kind of putting together all year,” said Fayetteville girls’ head coach Marcus Sodek. “We’ve played it every now and then. The girls did a good job executing.”
