Crowd of Animal Rights Activists Interrupts Auction

About 20 to 30 people showed up at the Schulenburg Livestock Auction on Saturday, Jan. 18, as part of a protest and TV show about animal rights.

The weekly livestock auction was taking place at the time.

Deputies from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office and officers from the Schulenburg Police Department responded to the auction barn.
