Luedke

Funeral services for Alice Luedke, 77, of Northrup are scheduled for 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24, 2020 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Serbin with Rev. John Schmidt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Alice Lorine Mitschke was born on Jan. 28, 1942 in Northrup. She was called to her Savior’s side and eternal home on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2020 at her home in Northrup.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Luedke; daughter, Dena Luedke Kuhlmann; son, Dane Scott Luedke; parents, Isidor and Elsie Mitschke; parents-in-law, Willie and Clara (Mertins) Luedke; three brothers-in-law, Willard “Bubba” Luedke, Wally Wilson, and Terry Luedke, and two nephews, Michael Mitschke and Mark Luedke.

Alice is survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Sommer and Chris Garman and their children, Nathan and Oliver of San Antonio, and Caleb and Wendy Kuhlmann and their children, Jeremiah, Micaiah, Leah Grace, Isaiah and Adah of Montgomery; two brothers, Paul and Evelyn Mitschke of Northrup and Calvin and Ina Mitschke of Northrup; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Carmen Luedke of Brenham, Margie and Johnny Fleissner of Dale, Mitzie and Butch Frazier of Houston, Larry and Sandy Luedke of Huffman, and Melody Luedke of Midlothian, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings.
