Ripper

Hiedi Bree Ripper, 39, passed from this life on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020 at her Arlington home, with family and friends by her side, after a heroic battle against cancer.

She was born May 23, 1980 in Sherman to David and Robin (Wright) Ables. She attended school in Walters, Okla., where she graduated Salutatorian of her class in 1998; she graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor’s degree in 2002.

While in Waco she met the love of her live, Nathan Ripper and they were married July 19, 2004. They were blessed with two beautiful sons, Seth Daniel, and Levi Kristopher.

Hiedi loved photography and made it her profession, she continued working from home as the boys came along. Hiedi was very creative, teaching the boys from an early age. As the boys started school, she volunteered countless hours there, making many lifelong friends. Hiedi loved to travel, and did so often with Nathan and family.

Hiedi is survived by her husband Nathan; sons, Seth and Levi; mother and stepfather, Robin and Carl Berry; father and step mother, David and Angel Ables; sister and her husband, Heather and Jeremy Adye; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Larry and Sylvia Ripper of La Grange; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Eric and Claire Ripper, and their sons Judson and Charlie; three grandparents, Bernard Wright, Bill and Laura Ables, and step grandparent, Dixie Berry; three aunts, Melisa Tennison, Rhonda Mabery and Karen Jorden; and one uncle, Randy Wright.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Myrna Stiver and two uncles, Keith and Eric Ables.

A celebration of her life is planned in Arlington on Feb. 1.
