County’s Two Sheriff Candidates Court Voters at Forum

Incumbent Sheriff Keith Korenek and Cody George, the Sheriff’s challenger in the upcoming Republican Primary, both spoke at an election forum in La Grange last Tuesday, Jan. 29.

The forum was organized and hosted by the Fayette County Republican Party and the Fayette County Republican Women. Former Fayette County Republican Chairman David Stall moderated the event. Members of the Fayette County High School Republicans assisted with gathering written questions from the audience.

The crowd that attended nearly filled the meeting room at the Ag Building in La Grange. Among the crowd were a large contingent of employees from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.
