Stunners in Navasota: La Grange Boys Shock Rattlers but Lady Leps Fall

It was a pair of upsets Friday in Navasota for the La Grange basketball teams – one good, one bad.

The La Grange boys became the first team in District 26-4A to knock off Navasota as the Leps beat the Rattlers 52-45.

Dawson Brooks led the way for La Grange with 13 points and Dayton Jarvis added nine.

La Grange led by one at halftime and had a big third quarter to build a lead Navasota couldn’t overcome.
