Sheriff Korenek Reports on January Activities

Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports activities of Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies for the month of January.

Deputy Ben Wilson responded to Round Top for a disturbance between a mother and her daughter. The daughter was screened by mental health services. Wilson also responded to a residence on Trinity School Road for a reported trespasser. The trespasser was not located however, a stolen vehicle was located and recovered.

Deputy Marc Bennett took a theft report from the St. John Lutheran Church where two items from a nativity scene went missing. Bennett responded to Bending Road where an individual reported a stolen lowboy trailer. Sergeant Ron Naumann attended the 100 Club Meeting in Houston to participate in 100 Club award nominations for officers that go above and beyond the call of duty.
