With just six minutes to go, the best girls basketball season in La Grange history hung in the balance Monday.

Wharton had trailed the entire game, but amidst a flurry of three-pointers the Tigers scored 11 unanswered points to tie a 4A playoff opener against La Grange in the cavernous Merrell Center arena in Katy.
