Two County Hoops Teams in the Sweet 16

The Schulenburg girls and boys basketball teams squared off against Luling in a playoff double-header Tuesday night at Cuero High School. Schulenburg came out on top in both matchups with each one being a close decision. The girls team competed in a regional quarterfinal while the boys went toe-totoe in a bidistrict setting. It was an intense atmosphere that lasted throughout the whole night.

Another strong rally in the second half earned the Schulenburg girls a regional semi-final bid with a 48-40 win.
