J.K. Dobbins Attracts a Crowd at NFL Combine

INDIANAPOLIS—Standing in front of more than 50 journalists with cameras and microphones, former La Grange High School offenses as they were in the standout J.K. Dobbins remained as humble as ever.

With media professionals from TV, radio, and digital platforms descending on the Combine from all over the country, the scene in the Sagamore Ballroom at the Indianapolis Convention Center on Wednesday was a media extravaganza.

Conducting his interviews like a seasoned professional, Dobbins reflected on his childhood, his high school success, and his three years as a standout running back for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

First, Dobbins was ushered onto a small stage, standing behind a podium crowded with microphones and tape recorders.

After a half-hour of back-and-forth questions and answers, he was then whisked away for a stand-up interview with the Big Ten Network, and a few moments later was sitting down with hosts from SiriusXM’s live broadcast, before finally appearing on NBC’s Pro Football Talk.
