Lady Leopards Go 2-4 at Home Softball Tournament

The La Grange softball team started their home tournament Thursday with a pair of wins before losing their last four games Friday and Saturday.

The Lady Leps are now 3-9 overall.

Thursday La Grange started the tourney with a 1-0 win over Cedar Creek as Mikaylee Supak hurled a complete game fourhitter with 10 strikeouts. Madison Schroeder scored the game’s lone run and Kailee Jones had a double in that game.

Later that day, the Lady Leps beat Spring Legacy 8-4 as Supak again pitched a complete game. Becca Heinrich hit a homer in that game and drove in two. Natalie Blackwell and Jones each hit triples.
