Committee Picked to Choose New Shorthorn Coach

About 60 people have applied for the position of Schulenburg I.S.D. athletic director and head football coach, according to Superintendent Duane Limbaugh.

Limbaugh told the Record on Friday that the school formed a committee to review the applications. He said the committee would begin reviewing applications and conducting interviews on Monday, March 9. They would then recommend two to three final applicants for the school board to consider, Limbaugh said. The committee members are:

• Charles Henke - SISD High School Principal

• Callene Zapalac - SISD Junior High Principal
