Leps Get in Home Tourney Games Before Coronavirus Puts a Halt to All Athletics

Thursday and Friday pro and college sports across the nation had already cancelled and/or postponed their seasons out of precaution about the coronavirus.

For a couple of days high school sports was all that remained – at least before the UIL pulled the plug on Texas high school sports for two weeks.

And in that span the La Grange baseball team was able to host their annual baseball tournament.

Out of precaution, one team didn’t show, one didn’t come back after the first day, but the Leps were able to play all four of their games – as sports provided a little sense of normalcy before that too was taken away.
