We are a Nation of Heroes

To the editor:

The Texas Heroes Museum is closed until further notice due to the current pandemic.

As in all of our nation’s battles, we have heroes. We salute our health care professionals, paramedics, and first responders who are on the front lines of this conflict; the volunteers who deliver food to the homebound seniors; the truck drivers who continue to supply the nation with food and supplies; the private industries who have changed their production lines to supply the needed materials; the law enforcement personnel who expose themselves to the virus so that law and order is maintained; the military personnel who are assisting in the battle; and the government workers who coordinate and lead the fight against this unseen enemy.
