Record Athlete of the Week: RTC’s Ryker Goehring

Round Top-Carmine has one of the ten best small school baseball teams in the state of Texas.

Among this team is a family tie from head coach to player. Blake Goehring is the head coach and his son, Ryker Goehring, is a pitcher and shortstop. Ryker is a junior who’s been playing baseball since he was five years old and has established himself as an elite player by winning district awards such as “Newcomer of the Year” as a freshman and “Pitcher of the Year” as a sophomore.
