Abbott Says Salons and Barbershops can Open on Friday, Gyms on May 18

Hair, nail and tanning salons along with barbershops in Texas may reopen on Friday, and gyms will be allowed to open May 18, according to orders from Governor Greg Abbott Tuesday.

Employees will only be able to work with one customer at a time. People waiting at shops will have to maintain six foot separation or wait outside.

Gyms will be allowed to operate at 25% of capacity. Showers and locker rooms will still remain closed.
