RTC Alum Ava Myers Has Strong First Year of College Volleyball

Round Top-Carmine Alum, Ava Myers earned a starting position on the Southwestern Assemblies of God University volleyball team, after being recruited at the end of her Junior year at RT-C.

SAGU is a NAIA Division 1 member that participates in the Sooner Athletic Conference in Waxahachie, Texas. In her first collegiate tournament she came out swinging and recorded her first double doubles match with 14 kills and 17 digs. In her final appearance during post season which was at the NCCAA Central Regional Tournament she would close out her freshman season with her fifth double double, recording 10 kills and a 22 digs.
