Fayette Co. Opry To Host Tribute To Loretta Lynn

The Fayette County Country Music Club will host their monthly Opry on Monday, March 18 with Missy Brown and also a special tribute to Loretta Lynn with Allison Crowson at the Knights of Columbus Hall in La Grange. The show starts at 7 p.m. and the doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $7.

Missy Brown has been performing for well over 20 years in the country music scene. She has performed mostly in the Houston and surrounding areas at various clubs, dance halls and Opry’s. She is back up singer as well as a regular feature for several Opry shows and also for Pearland Cowboy church, where she was blessed to stand side by side with legendary Herb Remington on steel guitar until his passing. She is a lover of mostly classic country music and you’ll hear some of the influences of Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn and Dawn Sears in her voice. She is debuting her first album titled, “A Life That’s Good”.

Allison Crowson will do a special tribute to Loretta Lynn.
