Dunk

Funeral services for Eunice Dunk, 78, of Giddings, were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2019 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda, Texas with Rev. David Mumm officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Eunice Joyce (Urban) Dunk was born on July 17, 1940 in Lexington to Paul Hermann Urban and Emma Marie (Petzold) Urban. She graduated from Giddings High School in 1958. Eunice was united in marriage to William George Dunk on June 4, 1960 at St. John Lutheran Church in Lincoln by Rev. Henry Gerike.

Eunice passed away the evening of Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Oakland Manor Nursing Center in Giddings.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Emma Urban; her husband, George Dunk; and two brothers, Franklin Urban and his wife, Mildred, and Woodrow Urban.

Eunice is survived by one son, Nathan Dunk and his wife, Jessica of Giddings; one daughter, Pam Dunk of Giddings; four grandchildren, Kyle Dunk and his wife, Lindsey of Gonzales, Jeremy Dunk of Giddings, Jacob Green and his wife, Jacquese Brown of Austin, and Jordyn Green of Giddings; one great grandson, Malique Green of Austin; one sister-in-law, Clara Urban of Hutto, as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings.
