Clementine “Tina” Wostarek

Clementine “Tina” Wostarek, 82, of Columbus, died Jan. 9, 2014, in Columbus. She was born on Aug. 27, 1931, to Elo and Elizabeth (Goerig) Munsch in Fayetteville. On Nov. 25, 1954, she married Lawrence J. Wostarek. She was a homemaker, who loved cooking for her family and working in her garden, especially with flowers. Her hobbies were sewing and crocheting. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, the Altar Society, and the KJZT. Clementine  and husband Lawrence took pride in cleaning St. Anthony’s Church and caring for the church grounds for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Frances Guenther and husband Thomas of La Grange; sons, Thomas E. Wostarek and

wife Lynn of Columbus, and Anthony Wostarek and wife Pamela of Georgetown; grandchildren, Matthew Guenther

and wife Misty, Angela Guenther,  Ryan Wostarek, and Kathleen Smith and husband Mark; great-grandchildren, Hudson

Guenther, Natalie Smith, Dylan Roberts, and Taylor Roberts; sisters-in-laws Angeline Munsch, Annie Munsch, Isabel 

Blanton and husband Merle, Edith Evanicky, and brother-in-law James Wostarek; and a number of nieces and nephews, who lovingly called her their “Aunt Teenie.” She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her brothers, Harold Munsch, Daniel Munsch, and Edward Munsch; and several brothers and sisters-in-law. Funeral services were held

on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, at 2 p.m. at St. Anthony CatholicChurch in Columbus.Fr. Augustine Asante officiated. Burial took place in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Columbus. Pallbearers were Matthew Guenther, Ryan Wostarek, Benedict Munsch, Joseph Munsch, Greg Wilde and Glen Evanicky. Memorials are suggested to the St. Anthony Catholic Church Altar Society, P.O.
