Holy Cross Lutheran Church Confirmands Host Reunion

A Confirmation reunion for Confirmands of Holy Cross Lutheran Church was held for the year 2009 back every tenth year anniversary to 1959 and then every five year anniversary to 1939, which was the 80th anniversary. Numerous Confirmands from the years past were in attendance. A light reception was held following the service.

Vacation Bible School

VBS has been scheduled at Holy Cross Lutheran Church for June 17 through 19 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The theme for this year is “Moses.” Children ages three through 12 are invited to attend. Volunteers are needed to help with year’s program. Those needed are at least four teachers and four helpers for the age groups. The material will be provided by the Board of Christian Education. Volunteers are also needed (church groups, individual families or groups of families) to help provide meals for three nights for the children and staff members.
