Dorothy (Janda) Will, 90, of La Grange, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019.

Dorothy was born in Sheldon on May 6, 1929, the daughter of Fred and Pauline (Hein) Janda.

She was employed for nineteen years with W.H. Curtin & Co., in Houston; along with Hughes Tool Co. Dorothy later worked for the University of Houston for seventeen years as an administrative assistant until she retired.

Her hobbies included her love for owning and driving her Ford Mustang, being a highly proficient typist, wearing stylish clothes and spending quality time with her family.

Dorothy is survived by one granddaughter, Solitaire Lind and husband, Jason; two great grandchildren: Heather Ambriz and husband, Gabriel, and Mikael Huerta; along with her great greatgrandchild, Daniel “DJ” Ambriz.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Allen Wilganowski; five sisters: Lorine Kulhanek, Annie Baranowski, Elsa Stolle, Edna Wernecke, and Lillian Kana; three brothers: William (Bill) Janda, Fred Janda, and Robert Janda.

The family received friends at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations, 208 W. Pearl St., La Grange. A funeral service followed at 1 p.m. Burial took place following the service, at Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Hostyn.
