Kid’s Fish at Winedale

On June 1 from 9 a.m. to noon, everyone is welcome to bring their rod and reel for a day of fishing at Winedale Lake. The Brenham High School’s Angler Club will help kids sharpen their fishing skills. There is no charge for the event and the lake is open for fishing between sunrise and sunset every day. The event will be held at Winedale, behind the Visitor Center, at 3738 FM 2714, Round Top, Texas 78954.

Enjoy live music at The Stone Cellar on weekend nights with Doug Kent on Friday at 7 p.m., Sean Orr’s Texas Gold Trio on Saturday at 7 p.m. and DeAnna Wendolyn on Sunday at 6 p.m.

ARTS for Rural Texas is hosting an exhibition at the Ross Gallery until May 25 called “Seeing Beauty in the Light Around Me,” with works by Jan Fraizer. For more information, contact ARTS at (979) 378-2113.

Remember, the Farmer’s Market is every Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Round Top Courthouse Square.
