Optimist Club Offers Wide Array Of LG Youth Sports Opportunities

Who’s ready for some La Grange Optimist Club Sports? There is a full roster for the fall and spring season and registration has started. You can register online by visiting www.leaguelineup.com/optimistsports.

Fall soccer for pre-k (4) thru 8th grade co-ed registration will be from June 1-August 1. Practice will start in mid August and games are scheduled to start the Saturday after Labor Day. Games will be played every Saturday in September and October. You will need shin guards which must cover the socks, running shoes or cleats and they cannot be football or baseball cleats. You will also need a soccer ball. Pre-k thru 2nd grade must have a size 3 ball, 3rd and 4th grade must have a size 4 ball and 5th thru 8th grade must have a size 5 ball.
