Pampell
Visitation for Edward Pampell, 66, of Loebau, was held on Friday, June 28, 2019 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings. A service to celebrate Edward’s life will be held at a later date. Edward James Pampell was born on Dec. 30, 1952 in Houston to Edward Marvin and LaVern (Rackel) Pampell. He was baptized on Jan. 18, 1953 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Houston. He was confirmed on March 19, 1967 also at Trinity Lutheran Church in Houston. He was united in marriage to Lynette Sue Franke on Nov. 8, 1980 at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Winchester by Rev. Adolph Brand. Edward worked in the construction industry as a drywaller. He served as treasurer at Christ Lutheran Church in Loebau, was a lifetime committee member of the Houston Livestock Show, and he was also in charge of numerous benefits that were held at the Loebau Wagon Stop. His hobbies included ranching, farming, fishing, hunting, listening to live mu-sic, was a jack of all trades, riding his horses and spending time with his family. Edward died unexpectedly the evening on Sunday, June 23, 2019 in Loebau. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings.
