Here’s the Beef

Michael Anderson is trying to wring every bit of revenue he can from his Meadow Creek Ranch outside of Ellinger. His Longhorn Beef Co. runs about 100 head of Longhorn and Longhorn-Angus cross bred cattle on his 200 acre spread.

(He leases another 200 acres nearby.) He’s also got 70 goats – mostly for brush control – four  hogs and two dogs.
