Flatonia ISD Education Foundation To Host Throwback Golf Tournament September 7

The Flatonia Education Foundation will be holding an annual fundraiser with a four man scramble golf tournament and dance on Sept. 7. Tee times will be 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the Flatonia Golf Course located at 1245 E. US 90. Cost to enter is $50 per person for early registration and $60 for the day of registration at the door of the Flatonia American Legion Hall. Teams are limited so register early. If you don’t have enough players, we will build foursomes. A cart can be rented for $20, if needed. Each golfer will receive two drink tickets and a hole-in-one attempt to win a new Ford F-150, sponsored by Chuck Brown Ford of Schulenburg. There will be 1st and 2nd place payouts for three flights, the golfers will also have two attempts at longest drive, longest putt and closest to the hole, total of six prizes at $50 each. If the golfer would also like to attend the dance, they can purchase one ticket to the dance at half price per golf entry. Lunch for the golfers will be sausage wraps provided by J Bar B Foods and chips and snacks will be provided by the Wine Haus.
