Disc Golfer Plays 504th Texas Course in LG

Traveling disc golfer Bryan James of Carrollton played his 504th course in Texas last Wednesday, Aug. 28, at Camp Lone Star.

Carrollton’s goal is to play every disc golf course in the state, and he is close to accomplishing that goal. He has already played just about each one of the state’s approximately 430 public courses. He is now on a quest to locate and play private courses, like the one at Camp Lone Star.

“The tee is around here somewhere,” James said while checking GPS coordinates on his cell phone near the edge of a sloped clearing on the Camp Lone Star property.
