Tri-County Baseball/Softball Umpire Chapter Needs More Members

The Tri-County Softball Umpire Association held their end of year social gathering at the Hallettsville City Park. A delicious meal was catered by one of our own umpires, Connie Koopmann, and was enjoyed by all. A retirement plaque was presented to Arthur Bosque for over 30 years of dedicated professional service to the Tri-County Chapter, a division of the Texas Association of Sports Officials (TASO). Arthur, a LaGrange native, was one of the first members of Tri-County when it became an official member of TASO, which was one time called the Southwest Officials Association (SOA).
